Hi,

No.  The only ways to cancel a fire lane once placed are listed under A9.223
(malfunction of MG, manning squad is broken/pinned/eliminated, end of the
current MPh, a TPBF/CC-Reaction-Fire situation occurs, or when the B# is
rolled when resolving an attack in the fire lane).

uses its inherent FP for DFF against a different target but cowers on
that shot. Does this cower cancel the Fire Lane? Why (rule)?
