[ASLML] Q: Hand to hand combat

Hi guys,

following situation:

Japanese (ATTACKER) advances into CC agianst amrican unit (DEFENDER) - 
no ambush.
Do both sides use red CC kill numbers from now on 
(even if CC results to melee and Defender and attacker sides change in 
next turn) ?
