Most definitely NOT true, but a common misconception. 

Once I've occupied the building - and no enemy are present - I control it.
After that, an enemy can move into the building - but I continue to control
it as long as I have ANYONE in there with him...

You can control the building - and there can be enemy units in the
building...

Trust me. I'm right on this.
