[ASLML] VASL newest version

The newest version probably is wonderful, but since I have not been able to
get it running, I really wouldn't know. It is entirely my fault...since I
have absolutely zero interest in having 97 (or even 2) different versions
of VASL on my computer, I tried to get the new files to install over the
old ones. Didn't work. It did succeed in messing up the old files, so I
now have no versions that work. I expect that I am going to have to delete
all of my files and start over from scratch. Maybe I'll actually decide I
have an hour to waste doing this today or tomorrow...not that I would
prefer to be doing something else mind you...trying to fix something that
worked until it was "improved" is a great way to spend a Saturday.....

I am guessing that the "new" install method is absolutely great for someone
who has no files to begin with, or is perfectly happy to keep umpteen
different versions on their machine. For someone who just wanted the
updated files so they could replace the out of date files, I find it highly
inconvenient. And if the 2 versions were not meant to be compatible at
all, perhaps a simple statement on the web page saying "Do not try to
install these files over your old ones" would help.
