The SWT concept is interesting. However, I have yet to see it handled well
in any rules/SSR. I don't count the Nip MG crews because those rules
reflect a highly specific doctrinal and cultural situation. Doctrinal
because the Japanese military limited SW MG training to elite
teams...Cultural because the average Nip soldier did not tend to be
comfortable when forced to improvise.

The problem as I see it is that the SWT rules would have to be different
for each nationality. For example, I see the Germans as similar to the Japs
due to a rigid military discipline. The other extreme would be US military
where improvisation was encouraged and every other Joe fancied himself a
shade-tree mechanic for any kind of equipment. Sure, this
stereotyping...but then that is what all the nationality distinctions
are...including the Nip MG crew rules.

PL leader is an excellent concept. It suffered from extremely poor
execution on the part of CH. Not to mention the initial series of crappy,
halfa*sed playtested CG that PL was associated with. I would be shocked if
MMP would have anything to do with PL and it's poor reputation. Besides,
MMP already has their standard CG outline.
