Ah, it says right in A10.31 that a Hero/Berserk Leader
is Wounded and must add +1 to his Wound Severity
dr *as if* already Wounded.

I.E., it's automatically Wounded, and will outright die
on a subsequent dr of 4-6.

No... I used to play it this way - and would have argued on this side, but I
looked back at the rules the other day and guess what? The rule says "If a
wounded hero fails a MC it is eliminated..."

So which happens first?

1. Does the Hero take a C/R because of the 12 and then "fail a MC" to die.
2. Does the hero "Fail a MC" to become wounded and then take a C/R?

If the second, then note that the wounded hero has not "failed a MC" but has
suffered C/R and would take a wound severity check.
