Its not an "original Morale Check" its an original (unmodified) DR of 2 that
causes Heat of Battle. 

And yes, you can have Heat of Battle if you roll snakes on an interdiction
morale check... Remember, it's a "Normal Moral Check"... You can have Heat
of battle, and you can casualty reduce...
