[ASLML] Original morale check

Guys,

     What is the definition of an "original" morale check?  I couldn't
find it in the ASLRBv2.  

     The question arose from a situation in a recent game where my
opponent chanced interdiction and rolled "snakes" and claimed Heat of
Battle  -- although neither of us were comfortable with this thinking
that something didn't feel quite right about it.  Is an interdiction MC
an "original" MC?
