New England's ASL Tournament
 
GENERAL INFORMATION: Doors open at 1:00 PM on Friday, with
24 hour access to the gaming room. Doors close at 8:00 PM
on Sunday. All players from beginners to experts are
encouraged to play, and the emphasis is on having fun.
 
MAIN TOURNAMENT: Starts Friday, and the tournament is
Swiss format, with prizes for first through third place. Players
choose from five scenarios per round. Five or six rounds of
play are required to select the winners.
 
MINI TOURNEYS: We're having two minis this year. One will be
a "Big Mofo Mini". Entrants will play one huge scenario from
our list per day, starting Friday. Setups should be prepared
ahead of time. Also, a three round mini starts on Saturday.
 
PRIZES: First place gets a cool diorama courtesy of Joe Leoce.
Second through third place finishers receive plaques, as do the
winners of the mini tourneys.
 
HOTEL INFORMATION:
Room rates are $99 a night for up to 4 people, $15 for a cot.
Make sure you tell them you're with the Nor'Easter to get this rate, and
make your reservations at least 4 weeks before Nor'Easter - the earlier

The hotel is on Rte 20, a few blocks west of interstate 495,
45 minutes west of Boston. If coming from the airport, or
by train, make reservations with the Marlborough-Westborough
Airport Shuttle 800-242-0064.
