Greetings, all.
Having just conceded my last active VASL game (Congrats John Fedoriw!), I'm finding myself wishing for a new game. (That is, unless the person who for a YEAR now has promised that he wants to continue J73 gets back to me....) I've gotta admit, though, that I don't have a whole lot of time available, so:
1) Can only realistically plan on 1 file/week. Sometimes the stars are favorable and I get in 2-3, but 1 is more likely.
2) Having so little time to play means I'm rusty. Sam Belcher keeps on wanting to play me to get rid of his "low man on the totem pole" status in the PSASL. :-) Ergo, if you're looking for a strong challenge, please look elsewhere.
3) I've been taking a beating in ASL the past six months or so, so if you're highly rated on OARS, etc., I hope you'll understand if I pass. I fully appreciate the benefits of playing vs. a master (learned a heck of a lot getting creamed by Bernie Fox's Japanese in AP10 early last year...), my personal ELR has been taking quite a licking. I don't want to find myself as a Disrupted 6+1 leader. :-)
OTOH, I've got just about everything (over 1500 scenarios), and am willing to pick up new rules as necessary. Just don't expect me to do well with them! :-)
So, given the above stipulations, anyone still reading this far? I'm willing to do any theater, and have no objections to particular nationalities. I have VASL3 and VASL4, although I'm a Luddite who still prefers the former. :-)
