I know! I know! I think...

Been clearing a few mines lately, so with RB, B24.74 and B28.48 handy, moi
tinking is this:
 - As in your example the chaps are already in the minefield, 'Known' status
is irrelevant (only used for placing partial-TB) and therefore the fact the
A-T are still HIP doesn't matter. B24.74 does not distinguish between mine
types, therefore with ol' COWTRA I say the mine clearance covers all.
Probably because having separate stacks of TB counters for AP and AT mines
would be a nightmare.

If the above is convoluted and not straight forward, it's because it's my 3rd
re-write which is the complete opposite of what I first thought, but I think
it's right.  ;)

Besides, if we go into reality arguments (tee hee)...
