... which was identical to what the ASLRB says... so how could you have
possibly learned anything based on the Q&A that was provided?

You were provided with no new insight, and got no other opinion about
interpretation.

So what *did* you learn from Sam's reply???

Think about what just happened:

You asked a question, which was answered with a Q&A that is very outdated
vis-a-vis the 2nd Ed ASLRB...

You chastised me for raising the point, then patronized me by informing me
what the ASLML "IS" for...

Finally you accept the matter as settled, when in fact you didn't learn a
single thing from the Q&A and the Q&A did not clarify the rule *in any way*
whatsoever.

So what could you have learned from the Q&A that you didn't already know?

This is not really a gripe. I guess it just struck me as very odd, because
you don't typically ask questions when a rule is so clear, and then accept
an answer that says nothing different and is really no answer at all. (At
first, I was half expecting you to come back with your usually insightful
"but look at this" commentary, but when it was not forthcoming I was
surprised that you felt it necessary to ask the question in the first
place...)

I recognize that my tone in this thread has been sarcastic, and there's no
need for that, I suppose. I apologize to both you and Sam about that...

Regards,
Bruce Bakken
