Perry,
We couldn't resolve an issue with DC residual and would appreciate your
guidance:

A. Can a squad with DC throw the DC in Defensive First Fire as a
predesignated attack versus a BU AFV in an adjacent open ground hex and if,
after placement determination, the final IFT result is not a 12 malfunction,
will the DC attack leave residual (12 reduced two columns for the +2 thrown
DRM)?

B. Can a squad throw the DC into the AFV's hex as a general attack, not able
to affect the non-vulnerable PRC (or AFV) but still leave residual?

C. Can a squad throw the DC into a CE AFV's hex as a general attack, able to
affect the vulnerable PRC and leave residual?
