Quite right, free speech is important ... but this is an ASL list about ASL
not a forum for anything else.
I for one (it seems on of the few) will be very happy to see it moderated to
keep out the spam, flame wars and off topic posts ... and maybe in the
process allow more people to join in and enjoy this hobby without being
shouted down or scared off.
Paul has done a good job in the past (I would have been much more strict!)
and it's his list to do with as he sees fit.
As the landlord of my local used to say when someone pointed out he'd called
'Time' too early "If you want to open and close by your watch, buy your own
pub" ... if you don't like the way Paul runs it start your own list.
