No, it only *seems* that way to you. But whiners are usually louder than
everyone else, so the amount of background noise must have thrown you off.

Personally I wish posts could reach the list faster; but otherwise I have no
complaints about the moderated list.

For the record, that's *my* opinion about moderation. Sorry it doesn't match
the "main line".
