[ASLML] 2 questions

Playing a Deluxe scenario and I have 2 questions:

1.  I have a unit in dC5 that wants to go into crest status.  It's one of those goofy, end of the gully hexes.  Can the crest marker be placed so as to cover the  B4, B5 and C(offboard) hexsides?

2.  Also, in dE2 there are the following units not yet in melee, Berserk German 247, Berserk Russian 426 and Disrupted/DM Russian 226.  Assuming no other KEU,. what are the rout options, if any, for the 226.  I've been reading and re-reading A19.12 A20.21 and can't make heads or tails of it.
